TRACY WILDE, PT, OCS

Tracy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 with a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy.  She began her career in Charlotte at Presbyterian Hospital, and in 1989 relocated to Upstate South Carolina.

Tracy worked for Professional Rehabilitation for 9 years where she gained experience in multiple areas of physical therapy, including several years of management.  For the past 20 years, her experience has been solely in outpatient physical therapy where she treats general orthopedic and spine patients, sports and industrial injuries.  Tracy has 12 years of experience working with aquatic patients for a variety of conditions.  Additionally, she evaluates and casts patients for custom orthotics and has experience performing functional capacity evaluations.

In 2009, Tracy underwent ACL reconstruction and microfracture for an old knee injury, giving her the unique perspective of being a patient.  After 6 months of rehabilitation at SSI, she was able to successfully return to running and competing in triathlons.  In 2011, she completed her Orthopedic Specialist Certification.  Tracy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Tracy lives in Simpsonville with her husband Wendell and they have three children, who are all young adults. Tracy serves on the board at the GHS YMCA and is a fitness enthusiast in her spare time. She is also a passionate Tarheel fan, especially during basketball season!
